Ekara (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through ekaralife.com, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We’ve kept it short and honest, the way we’d want it explained to us.

What we collect

Ekara doesn’t have a cart, checkout, or customer account system, so we don’t collect payment details or order history through the website. The only information we collect is what you choose to share with us directly:

• Your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number, when you fill in an enquiry or contact form.
• Whatever you write in the message field of that form.
• Basic technical data collected automatically by our hosting provider (like IP address and browser type) for security and reliability — the same kind any website receives, not something we actively review.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics on this site.

How we use it

Enquiry and contact form submissions are sent straight to the founders’ email inbox so we can reply to you — about a product, a corporate or wedding order, wholesale enquiries, or anything else you’ve written in. We use your details only to have that conversation and, if it leads to an order, to coordinate it with you over WhatsApp or email. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Form submissions are delivered to us by email only — we do not keep a separate database or CRM copy of your name, email, phone number, or message on our website or in our content management system.

WhatsApp and Instagram

If you reach us via the WhatsApp button or our Instagram page, that conversation happens on WhatsApp’s or Meta’s platform and is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours. We only see and use what you send us there to respond to you.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and fulfil any order that follows from it, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time — just email us at hello.ekaralife@gmail.com and we’ll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page with a new “last updated” date. We’d encourage you to check back occasionally if you’re curious.
