Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 August 2026
These terms govern your use of ekaralife.com and any order you place with Ekara, whether as an individual customer or a corporate, wedding, wholesale, or export buyer. By browsing this site or sending us an enquiry, you’re agreeing to them. If something here doesn’t make sense, just ask us — we’re a small team and easy to reach.
Who we are
Ekara is a contemporary Indian lifestyle brand founded by Sudhanshi and Arushi, working with artisan hand-block-printing craft. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Ekara; “you” means anyone using this website or placing an order with us.
No cart, no automated checkout
Unlike a typical online store, ekaralife.com doesn’t process payments or orders automatically. Everything you see here — products, collections, pricing shown — is indicative, and every order is confirmed personally with you over WhatsApp or email before it’s final. Nothing is charged, reserved, or dispatched until we’ve both agreed on the details. See our Shipping Policy for how that process works.
Product information & pricing
We try to keep product descriptions, dimensions, materials, and prices accurate and current, but because each piece is hand-block-printed and small-batch, minor variations in colour, print placement, and finish between the photo and the piece you receive are normal, not an error. Prices displayed on the site are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise, and are confirmed (along with any bulk or corporate pricing) at the time your order is placed — they may change without notice ahead of that.
Corporate, wedding, wholesale & export enquiries
Enquiries submitted through our Corporate, Events & Weddings, Wholesale, or Global Buyers pages are the start of a conversation, not a binding order. Quantities, pricing, customisation, timelines, and payment terms for these orders are agreed separately with you in writing (over email or WhatsApp) before any production begins.
Intellectual property
Everything on this site — including our name and logo, product photography, block-print designs, and written content — belongs to Ekara or is used with permission, and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You’re welcome to share our content on social media with credit to us, but please don’t reproduce, resell, or pass off our designs or photography as your own.
Acceptable use
Please use this site lawfully and in good faith. Don’t attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, scrape or copy its content for commercial reuse, or submit false or misleading information through our enquiry forms.
Third-party links
Our WhatsApp button, Instagram links, and any payment or scheduling links (like a “Book a Call” link) take you to third-party platforms we don’t control. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours.
Limitation of liability
We put real care into every piece and every order, but to the extent permitted by law, Ekara isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or an order placed with us — for example, delays caused by couriers, or minor variation inherent to handmade goods. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Rajasthan, India.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as our business grows — for example, as we expand into new categories. We’ll update the “last updated” date above whenever we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Contact
Questions about these terms are always welcome — reach us via our Contact page or email hello.ekaralife@gmail.com.
